Frequently asked questions
What is a ventilation passport?
A document that describes the ventilation system and its measured air flows room by room. The local authority asks for it in the occupancy permit procedure to make sure the system works as designed.
Is it needed in a house with natural ventilation?
Usually not — the measurement concerns mechanical ventilation. If the local authority also asks for confirmation that natural ventilation works, the project manager will tell you which document is suitable.
What happens if the air flows do not match the design?
The specialist rebalances the system if balancing can solve it. If construction changes are needed, they are listed in the report and the project manager helps order the work.
