What is the difference between an as-built survey and a building design?
A building design describes what will be built; an as-built survey documents the actual state of an existing building.
Is an as-built survey enough?
It is often one part of the application; a structural audit or other documents may also be needed. If the building is not in the Building Register or its data is incomplete, an as-built survey is generally needed to enter it in the register.
