Frequently asked questions
When is an energy performance certificate not needed?
Exceptions include, for example, small buildings, temporary structures, places of worship and some monuments. Based on your request, the project manager will tell you whether your building needs a certificate.
Can an apartment get its own certificate?
An energy performance certificate is usually issued for the building as a whole and applies to all its apartments. If the building already has a certificate, it can be used when selling an apartment.
How can the energy class be improved?
The certificate comes with recommendations on what affects the class most (e.g. insulation, heating system, ventilation). After renovation, you can order a new certificate.
